This shot I took of a staircase near my dorm serves as a great example of point, line, and plane. As you can see, the lines of the stairs make up the steps and image of a staircase. Each stair is a separate point, stacking on top of each other to make the stair case a whole. Each stair together makes up a plane where all the elements come together.
