Picture taken while I was working at the Holiday Inn Express in Pullman 9/14

This carpet reminded me of Balance due to its symmetrical and even distribution of space. It also reminded me of rhythm due to the fact that this pattern is repeated throughout the entire hallway, so its constantly repeating. The curly lines that make up this design seem like they’re in some way directly related to art nouveau.
