To me Barry seems to be saying that images, childhood and creative inspiration are all almost a combination of each other or just play off of each other. She explains how images, childhood and creative inspiration are all alive. I think she ties that in well with the colors and images she has chosen to use throughout the chapter. I chose to focus in on page 14 specifically on a quote that relates images, childhood, and creative inspiration together. Barry explains that an image is about being alive and she references an ocean as a sort of creative aspect to get her idea across.

I think Barry created the pages that make up this book in a form that makes someone think in order to read it. The writing on certain pages is posted in a hierocracy and that is dependent on what type of question is being asked. Something as simple as ‘What is an image?’ is larger then something like “the formless thing which gives things form”. Then there are different little sayings, or words that make you think about the questions that are being asked. Almost like Barry wants you to think about things and be inspired. I think that she could of drawn and also written out the words and then uploaded them online to edit then print. This relates to her message because she is saying use images and creativity as a source of inspiration. I think the best way for ones to be expressed is by physically drawing images just as a child would do at a young age.
