Poster designed by Douglas Kim

So this is the poster that I chose to finalize for my poster project. I felt that out of the three posters that I have made thus far, this one was the more interesting thing one. Also my peer reviewer also chose this poster which made it almost an unanimous decisions for me. I enjoy the way the poster really draws to the meat of it all. The title, location, and author names are all present in one small glance. I had trouble figuring out where to put the bios for for the mean time I just shoved them to the bottom. Finding a place for the bios will be my biggest challenge when it comes to finalizing this poster. I plan to keep the authors names overlapped because it creates a lot of black that catches the eyes compared to the white background. That is also why I made the word poetry in bold and also overlapping as it creates a lot of contrast with the rest of the poster. I will also be keeping a lot of the white space in order to facilitate the contrast.
