The poster that I chose to pursue as my final project was the one that I liked the most and that my classmates seemed to like most. Visually this poster works well by bringing my eye into read more about the event. I first look at the “Experimental” and then I read the words that are cutout before reading the text about the authors. I think what is most strong about this design is the fact that it feels balanced because their is not a lot of negative space, however the weight of the left side makes the poster more interesting to look at. The main thing that I want to change is adding “2015” to the poster, because I realized that I forgot to put it on the design. I also want to add a gray “L” in the background to add some depth to the photo. I have also considered other letters that might make for a more interesting design, but I think that it would be too cluttered. I plan on going into more detail in order to make sure everything lines up perfectly and clean up the design. Hopefully, these changes will improve my design without taking away from the original that I like the way it is.
