The class schedule is subject to change and will be updated every Friday. Check this page regularly to see what is expected for the upcoming week.

Remember: You can work outside class during open hours in the Avery Computer Lab in the evening and on weekends (Mon-Fri, 5:30-9:00pm; Sat-Sun, 12:00-5:00pm). You may also work on weekday evenings until 11:00pm in the SPARK 210 PC lab and in the Dimensions Lab in Holland Library.

WEEK 5

Tues 9/17 (lecture)

  • Project 1: What are we making? How does this relate to Scott McCloud, Lynda Barry, and the writers/artists discussed at the library visit?

  • Small groups: Discuss ideas for Digital Comics Collage
  • Assign: Complete Blog 3: Design Elements and Principles and read John Lovett’s Design Overview (this includes the links: Elements of Design, Line, Shape, Direction, Size, Texture, Color, Value, The Principles of Design, Balance, Gradation, Repetition, Contrast, Harmony, Dominance, and Unity)

WEEK 6
